1.1 System Requirements

Active@ Password Changer for Windows

  • operational system Windows NT and newer;
  • VGA, or higher resolution, monitor;
  • x86 or x64-based microprocessors (such as Intel 80486 or higher);
  • minimum 16Mb of RAM;
  • CD(or DVD)-ROM drive;
  • Mouse or other pointing device;

Active@ Password Changer for DOS

  • AT compatible CPU with 386 or greater processor
  • 640 Kb of RAM
  • 1.44 Mb floppy disk drive or CD-ROM drive
  • EGA 640x480 or better screen resolution

Password recovery software on Active@ Boot Disk Lite

WinPE 3.1 recovery environment is based a Windows 7 SP1, and to boot up the machine requires:

  • x86, x64 -based microprocessors;
  • minimum of 386 MB of RAM;
  • CD/DVD/BD drive, or USB Bootable Disk
  • Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA)-compatible display device and will use the highest screen resolution it can determine is supported. If Windows PE can't detect video settings, it uses a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels;

The software can display and change the password and account settings that are:

  • Created by Windows NT, Windows 2000 Workstation, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP (32 and 64 bit), Windows 2003 (32 and 64 bit), Windows 2008 (32 and 64 bit), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • Stored on FAT16 / FAT32 / NTFS / NTFS5 file systems

Password recovery software on Active@ LiveCD

Linux-based Active@ LiveCD to boot up the machine requires:

  • Intel Pentium or higher, 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)
  • UEFI Secure Boot or regular BIOS boot
  • Minimum of 1GB of RAM
  • CD/DVD/BD drive, or USB 2.0/3.0 port to boot from
  • Video: VGA resolution (800 x 600) or better
